Meeting place and times*

  • Chantemerle: Ratier gondola arrival point

  • Every day from 10am to 4.30pm

Conditions for access*

  • height: minimum 1m40 (minors must be accompanied by an adult)

  • arrive 15 minutes before departure

  • a map will be given to you on arrival during the "briefing": before the start, presentation of the activity with handling of the equipment and safety rules to be observed throughout the course (handling test on the Ratier plateau)

  • duration of the activity: allow around 1? hours for the return journey, including the use of the ski lifts.

Included in your Activity Pass

  • 1 descent in a Mountain Kart or Downhill Scooter

  • 1 day's unlimited pedestrian access to all the ski lifts for a maximum experience of the entire high altitude area

  • Access to the Grand Alpes (Chantemerle) and Croix de la Nore picnic areas in Briançon via the Prorel gondola, equipped with planchas accessible every day from 12.00 to 14.30.

  • Loan of equipment and protection (helmets in particular): remember to bring gloves and sunglasses.

Safety and use instructions

Please read the following instructions before you start Mountain Karting or Downhill Scooter riding:

  1. Wear a helmet (we can lend you one on request)

  2. Wear footwear suitable for mountain walking

  3. Respect others and keep a safe distance between karts and scooters.

  4. Control your speed and adapt your behaviour to your ability

  5. Respect the track layout and signs

  6. Do not park on the track

  7. Respect the equipment and instructions given by the staff

  8. In the event of a technical problem with a kart or scooter, call the assistance number.

  9. In the event of an accident, call 112 and seek assistance.
